Physics is a branch of pure science, that deals with the study and analysis of physical phenomena that take place around us, the nature of the forces responsible for them, and the accurate measurement of the physical parameters involved, their independence, and the laws governing them. This leads to a better understanding of the universe we live in. The laboratory and the sessions are intended to give the students hands-on experience of the experiments that enable the verification of the knowledge gained in the theory classes. A degree in physics enables the student to pursue a career in teaching.
The upgradation of the department laboratory is being done from time to time as per the recent advances and developments in the concerned area. Students have to prepare a project in the final year. The curriculum aims are to develop professionals in the field of academics and research as a lecturer and research students/scientists. The students will be provided exposure by way of conferences, workshops, and educational trips.
